This was the second picture from my most recent Yosemite adventure. Barnard 86 is a small, dense cloud of dust that obscures the light of the millions of stars behind it. Just below it is the open cluster NGC 6520. I was inspired to shoot this section of the sky when I first spotted the nebula in my Milky Way image.
